Snitzel as a racehorse was a four time winner as a two-year-old from six outings, before training on at three to win the 2006 Group One Oakleigh Plate defeating the older horses, which included World Champion sprinter Takeover Target. Snitzel was a $260,000 yearling from the 2004 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. He is a stallion that continues to impress with his racetrack progeny & sales progeny. In 2016 he topped the Magic Millions Yearling Sale with a $1.6 million colt from Mirror Mirror. And in 2017 he repeated the dose with a $1.1 million colt from the same sale. Snitzel stands at Arrowfield and recently they announced their Stallion fees for 2017, with Snitzel jumping significantly to $176,000 Inc. GST, up from $110,000 in 2016.  

Out of the mare Regrowth, she was a three time Black Type sprinting winner. Not only was she successful on the track but she is also a very successful mare in the breeding barn. Of seven foals to race, six of those are winners. A Black Type producer, Colour won the Group Three SAJC Breeder's Stakes. She is also the dam of Munhro who produced Derryn, the winner of the 2017 Group Two Arrowfield Sprint. Other horses to feature down the dams page include Sense Of Occasion and Forensics.
