By the 2013 Cox Plate winner Shamus Award who stands at Widden Stud, he is a son of sprinting sire Snitzel. His oldest progeny are now yearlings, this colt had great presence about him. Shamus Award was the first horse in history to win the Gr 1 VRC Australian Guineas after winning the Gr 1 WFA W.S Cox Plate. A versatile racehorse he won over distances form 1600m to 2040m, amassing prize money of just under $2.5million.

Out of the dam Benevolent, she is a daughter of Generous and is a half sister to Black Type winner Prier Way. Benevolent is a very good producing mare. Winning progeny include the very successful Mourinho and Molto Bene. She has had five foals to race and all have been winners.
